Discovering CAVAVIN signatures : Adour & Moi

Alain Brumont created the contemporary vineyard in 1980. He has become one of the leading figures in the French wine world. His avant-garde work still allows him to be the reference for wines from the South-West.

Honoured with the greatest distinctions, his motto remains the same: "Respecting his Terroir, his History and Sublimating the work of Man with the Vine". The idea that is close to his heart is that each gesture of the winegrower is reflected in the glass of wine.

Over time, CAVAVIN and the Brumont vineyard have developed a strong relationship. The Brumont vineyard has also decided to create exclusively for CAVAVIN the "Adour & moi" range in Madiran for the red and "Pacherenc du Vic Bilh" for the white.

Terroirs:

A hillside terroir nestled on the limestone cliff and composed of the finest varieties of clays in the South West. This terroir is composed of a collection of plots of fine, variegated, yellow and white clays resting on cracked limestone.

The grape varieties:

The grape varieties used for these wines are: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat, Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng.

Adour & Moi AOP Pacherenc Vic Bilh

Colour: pale gold

Nose: apricot, pineapple, lemon, iodine, grapefruit

Palate: A greedy wine, crisp with fresh fruit and citrus fruits with a hint of minerality. Mango and passion fruit accompany the grapefruit on the palate.

Pairings: Shellfish, aperitifs, cheese, seafood.

Adour & Moi AOP Madiran

Colour: ruby

Nose: blackcurrant, black cherry, pepper and liquorice

Palate: The wine is fine and juicy, crisp with fruit and a nice grain of tannin. The wine is full of character with spicy and jammy fruit aromas.

Pairings: Charcuterie, grilled and roasted meats.
