Présentation
1In a large ovenproof dish, place all the ingredients except the potatoes. Then place the pork chops and pour the beer over them. Add the thyme and bay leaf.
2Place the dish in a preheated oven at 160C°. Cook for 2 hours, basting the meat from time to time. Add the potatoes and continue cooking for about 45 minutes. Check the cooking of the potatoes and the meat.
3Serve this family-friendly recipe in its dish. A few turns of freshly ground pepper and a few pinches of fleur de sel on the meat and garnish will liven up your dish.
Enjoy!
Domaine Chauvenet's Nuits-Saint-Georges is a full-bodied, chewy wine that will go perfectly with a beer-roasted pork palette. The aromas of fresh red fruits will mingle with dried fruits. Its roundness and fine tannins will perfectly suit this sweet and salty ensemble.
