Discovering Château Beaubois
A family story...
Located at the southern end of the Rhône Valley, on the edge of the Petite Camargue, Château Beaubois is a family vineyard in the Costières de Nîmes. A family story working with passion, respect and sharing.
Fanny and François Boyer, brother & sister, are the 4th generation to lay their stone to the building. In organic farming for more than 10 years, they have been converting to Biodynamic farming since 2019.
Spread over 60 hectares, Château Beaubois sublimates the terroirs through cuvées full of freshness, elegance and depth.
A unique terroir...
Fanny and François were committed to environmental protection from the very beginning and worked on a terroir made up of rolled pebbles that were detached from the upper Briançon area in the Alps during the Quaternary.
As part of this approach to environmental preservation, Château Beaubois has been producing its wines under the Terra Vitis charter since 2001. In 2004, it was qualified in "Sustainable Agriculture".
Château Beaubois produces different grape varieties, mainly Syrah and Grenache Noir, then Viognier, Cinsault and Roussanne.
The vines are planted on stony gress soils, a real asset for the vineyard. Harvesting is carried out by hand in the middle of August for the whites and in September for the reds.
The château practises plot selection where each plot is taken to a separate vat. The wines are matured in vats or in double oak barrels. This is how their wide range of wines is born, including the cuvée Idole, Confidence, Élégance, Expression de Beaubois.
