Discovering the Lafran-Veyrolles estate

Located in La Cadière-d'Azur, 20 km from Toulon, the Lafran-Veyrolles estate is a vineyard worked exclusively by hand thanks to ancestral know-how and low yields which give the grapes the personality of the terroir used by the estate. One of the best domains in the Bandol appellation!

An exceptional terroir that favours the development of Mourvèdre.

Mourvèdre is a grape variety that produces red wines and requires a lot of sunshine to mature. It gives the wine aromas of black fruits and spices.

The wines of this variety are signs of typical and generous wines in the pure tradition of the Bandol appellation.

The Lafran-Veyrolles Estate is certified organic since 2014. The grapes are harvested manually before being put into fermentation vats for a fortnight, with temperature control.

The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 18 to 24 months.

This technique gives the red wines of the Lafran-Veyrolles Estate an emblematic richness, with balanced tannins and a strong ageing potential.

The Lafran-Veyrolles Estate also produces white and rosé wines with a very good quality-price ratio.

• Domaine Lafran-Veyrolles AOP Bandol (red wine)

The colour is purplish, announcing black fruits on the nose, blackberries, and blackcurrants. The finish is liquorice and candied. This red wine gives off a beautiful and persistent sensation of fullness.

• Domaine Lafran-Veyrolles AOP Bandol (white wine)

This white wine with floral aromas is dry but fruity at the same time. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, with a very long finish and notes of honey.

• Domaine Lafran-Veyrolles AOP Bandol (pink wine)

With its blackberry and rose aromas, this rosé wine has a lot of character. Fine, supple and fruity, it offers a very nice finish.
