Discovering the Vignobles Brunot
Founded in 1922 in Saint-Emilion, Vignobles Brunot has the dual mission of creating wines offering an excellent price/pleasure ratio, while taking care to preserve the environment in the protected area of Saint-Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A family property, Vignobles Brunot is today managed with passion by Vincent Brunot, the 4th generation.
Aware of the challenges of our time, all their vines are HVE (High Environmental Value, sustainable agriculture) certified since 2019.
Throughout the year, Vignobles Brunot share their know-how during educational guided tours organised at Château Piganeau!
CHATEAU TOUR DE GRENET, AOP LUSSAC SAINT-EMILION
Built in 1850, on a high point in the middle of the vineyards, the property takes its name from the Grenet tower. 18 metres high, it dominates the 26-hectare vineyard on a beautiful clay-limestone soil where Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes are planted
CHATEAU PIGANEAU, AOP SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU
Acquired in the middle of the 19th century, Mr. Emilien Piganeau, a professor at the Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux and an archeology enthusiast, gave his name to his property.
Located in the area of the Pierrefitte menhir, near the Dordogne river and the old port of Saint-Emilion, the 5.8 hectare vineyard benefits from light and warm soils made up of sand and gravel.
Merlot, which flourishes on this Grand Cru terroir, is the only grape variety planted here.
