The range Grand Braquet : CAVAVIN exclusivities

Let's take the Loire circuit by bike, follow the Royal River and stop on the banks of the Loire, in the commune of Loroux-Bottereau, 20 kilometres south-east of Nantes, to discover the Manoir de la Firetière. Between wild nature and remarkable heritage, Guillaume Charpentier, is today at the head of this domain where all the richness of the winegrower's expertise is transmitted from father to son since 1845. Let's explore the 72 hectares of vines of the estate where several grape varieties coexist on this land of micashiste and friable shiste. Our itinerary now takes us off the beaten track to stroll along the sandy-silty soils of the Loire and walk naturally towards this wine that is atypical for its freshness and fruitiness: the Grand Braquet.

GRAND BRAQUET - CHARDONNAY

Produced on sedimentary and sandy-silty soils, Not common for a Chardonnay, it is vinified on lees. The winegrower has banned what is most commonly found on Chardonnay, namely woody characters and malolactic fermentation. The profile sought was a combination of freshness, roundness, amplitude and fruit, in order to be enjoyed as an aperitif. A wine on the fruit.

Nose: Expressive on fermentative aromas, with a combination of exotic and citrus aromas.

Palate: Freshness, pleasant fruit of the Chardonnay grape variety, without deviation, roundness, good depth.

Tasting: aperitif, seafood, grilled fish

GRAND BRAQUET - SAUVIGNON

Produced in the town of Divatte sur Loire, collected at full maturity, the must has undergone a six-hour thermovinification process in order to extract as much aromatic expression and fruit as possible. Vinified on lees, this Sauvignon remained in vats for 5 months before bottling. This wine is typical of the Sauvignon character. It is a wine that is tense to taste on its freshness and will delight consumers who love dry wines. This wine is the opposite of the Grand Braquet Chardonnay, which is considered a wine of pleasure.

Nose: Fine, flattering, with aromas of white flowers and white fruits.

Palate: Slightly pearly due to the "Sur Lie" vinification, liveliness, freshness, complexity and elegance with aromas of white fruits.

Tasting: aperitifs, seafood, starter, fish

GRAND BRAQUET - Limited edition

An atypical wine produced in the Val de Loire region. The grapes were harvested in a state of advanced maturity, in the stones, on friable schists and schists in the Lorousa region.
This cuvée was made on lees without artifice. This wine is a unique, unclassifiable wine. Every year the winegrower tries to produce a simple wine, on the fruit, and to present THE vintage that comes out of his cellar. This year the grape variety is the Melon de Bourgogne. Surprising Limited Edition.

Nose: expressive, complex and deep on candied citrus fruits.

Palate: A light pearl brings freshness. Then the entry in the mouth is complex with volume, round, powerful on candied fruits. Candied orange dominance. Sensation of brioche and Viennese pastries. Delicately terroite. Well balanced. Pleasantly mineral aftertaste. Excellent length.

Tasting: Aperitif, starter, fish.
